The Residents Association decided to invite the Fire Brigade and Building Control along to a public meeting to allay their fears regarding the access/escape routes.
It was asked how known wheelchair users on the 11th and 5th floors would be evacuated, especially if the lifts were to be stopped in case of fire.
B. also mentioned that due to health issues, she would be unable to leave the building by the stairs.

To be honest the situation seems dire, and we have real concerns about further planned work, ie electrical. i would propose we stop any other planned work to allow them to correct their first mistakes before making more on top of them.
